When my daughter and I were out in the garden yesterday she pointed out a tiny blast of color on our salvia plant. So, I took pictures as it was drinking from the flower and later learned that it is called a “southern purple mint moth.” Its caterpillars feed on rosemary, so it must have stopped by for a visit, as I do not have any rosemary in the garden.
