The cycle continues

I was ecstatic when I found the various stages of the ladybug on my milkweed. I am thrilled to see that the ladybugs have dispersed throughout the front garden and are now starting to mate. The more the merrier, as the aphids are still plentiful in the garden.

On patrol

A favorite find, lady bugs. They are beginning to devour the oleander aphids, a non-native pest that multiply way too quickly, on my milkweed plants. Often times if there are too many I will cut back the milkweed to allow it to grow healthy again.
