This resident of our butterfly house decided to make its chrysalis on a leaf, which the other caterpillars ate down to nothing. Luckily this guy was able to complete its chrysalis without being bothered.

Just as one monarch caterpillar was completing its chrysalis, we added another caterpillar to the butterfly house, which was found on a milkweed chewed down to the stem.

As always, here’s my page with more information and photographs about the monarch butterfly https://bit.ly/3Qrrs7A.
